On the second Saturday of each month, I will be paring up with The Polka Dot Press to present workshops and craft classes based on the season or holiday happenings throughout the year. Since September screams Back To School, we figured it would be fun to make some fun colorful crayon creations for our first workshop.
Our first lesson is a colorful crayon initial. So cute and so simple.
If you have ever had the urge to taste a crayon, the next one is for you. You know who you are.
Easy to make, cleverly fake!
Start by breaking regular size pretzel rods in half.
Melt Wilton Candy Melts according to package directions. Dip both ends of the pretzel into the melted candy and place on wax paper to set.
Create your crayon labels with this free printable. Use primary colored paper to print the labels on. Secure them with tape.
These would be perfect at an art themed party, class snacks, or teacher appreciation gifts. You know you would be the coolest kid on campus with these crayons. Just picture it!
The next workshop is scheduled for the second Saturday in November. Until then, clean out your crayon box and color your world with these colorful crayon creations!
