I have a cute and crisp apple theme mantel makeover on parade today along with a sweet teacher treat and a last minute homemade Happy Everything attachment.
So sit back and take a bite out of these apple inspired ideas to start your school year off 'ripe'!
This mantel is cute to the core and brings out some major school spirit in me!
I made the apple topiaries by covering Styrofoam balls with strips of fabric and finishing them off with a cinnamon stick and card stock leaves. The base was wrapped with fabric for extra detail.
Apples and a paper clip make the perfect photo display for those famous school pictures.
This no-sew bunting was made in a matter of minutes by cutting fabric into triangles and leaving tabs on them to allow for tying together. A smart and simple idea!
These alphabet letters were made with a coat of spray paint and a few paper apple dye cuts. Easy as ABC and 123!
Upgrade your 'apple for the teacher' with a sweet treat. Put in a pack of Old Fashioned Caramel Dip, a shiny apple and a knife for spreading. This gets an A plus in my grade book!
Desperate for a last minute makeover on my Happy Everything plate, I panicked and pulled out some scraps and stickers. This is what I came up with. Not the cutest apple attachment in the orchard, but definitely one worth picking and placing into the basket to take home.
Backpacks are stuffed and lunches are made.
Happy Back to School from The Homemade Parade!
